Crochet along
So I ran across this awesome crochet along "Crochet a Block a Month in 2013" in Ravelry and thought now this would be a great idea. I mean how much easier can it get, just one block each month and then at the end of the year you will have a nice warm blanket for yourself or a gift for someone. I've tried crochet alongs before, some I did great and complete and others went into the unfinished box, but this year, I will conquer this and post a picture each month. Now I am starting out a little behind, so hope to have the January square this weekend. I will definately post a picture. Wish me luck!
I will also be sharing links to my favorite free patterns throughout the year!

2013 Here I Come
I've been behind on my blogging, but my new year's resolution starts now. I hope to post more photos of my work, ideas I have, and share some patterns soon. What type of goals do you have for the year?

I'm so excited to show off these new items I can hardly stand it. I should have about four done soon. Trying to weed through some of my patterns as well and share some of my favorites. My good friend Jodi has been wonderful at encouraging me to finish these projects so special thanks to her. Keep on kickin' me in gear girl. I've got the hats and all the pieces ready to take with me this weekend camping.
Until then, here is some more items I made awhile back.

Missing in action
So I got off track and haven't been blogging (sigh) and I have no excuse. Thought I would get up-to-date and display all the beautiful items I have been working on. (Of course most of this can also be seen on www.facebook.com/groovinaround).

Beautiful Summer Head Band
I found this beautiful pattern for a Summer Lace Headband by Lara Sue on Raverly (definately going to make a few of these)

Waverly for Bernat Mystery CAL
I've been keeping up with this cal, and I must say I love this yarn. It kind of reminds me of Vanna's Choice (one of my most favorite yarns). The mystery afghan we are creating is a bit too lacey for me, but will make a beautiful gift for someone when I finish it.
