I'm so excited to show off these new items I can hardly stand it.  I should have about four done soon.  Trying to weed through some of my patterns as well and share some of my favorites.  My good friend Jodi has been wonderful at encouraging me to finish these projects so special thanks to her.  Keep on kickin' me in gear girl.  I've got the hats and all the pieces ready to take with me this weekend camping.

Until then, here is some more items I made awhile back.

Missing in action

So I got off track and haven't been blogging (sigh) and I have no excuse.  Thought I would get up-to-date and display all the beautiful items I have been working on.  (Of course most of this can also be seen on www.facebook.com/groovinaround).

Beautiful Summer Head Band

I found this beautiful pattern for a Summer Lace Headband by Lara Sue on Raverly (definately going to make a few of these)

Waverly for Bernat Mystery CAL

I've been keeping up with this cal, and I must say I love this yarn.  It kind of reminds me of Vanna's Choice (one of my most favorite yarns).  The mystery afghan we are creating is a bit too lacey for me, but will make a beautiful gift for someone when I finish it.

2012 Crochet-a-longs

So here are the projects I've decided to join:

2012 Crochet Block a month on Ravelry

Crochet a long square

And this one is very new to me, since I have never done these:
A New Amigurumi Pattern Each Month of 2012 by CrochetMe

I will post pictures as I go!  Join in on the fun!!!

Unfinished projects

Are there any of you out there like me?  I have a stack of items I started, got bored with or for some other reason  never finished.  Some really great yarn I cannot use because it is attached to some of these unfinished projects.  Sad, I know.  So, for 2012 I need some New Years Resolutions:

  1. Finish all unfinished projects
  2. Organize yarn, and roll up any small amounts
  3. Join two crochet-a-long projects with granny squares, just cause I love doing them.  (Will keep you all updated on this, you can join as well)
